Claudia Ribeiro holds a PhD in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from IST/UTL, Technical University, June 2014. She received also a MSc and a BsEE degrees in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from IST/UTL, respectively in 2003 and 2001. She has participated in several European founded projects focusing on: Serious Games, Virtual Environments, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Storytelling. Since 2007, she lectures several courses of the BsCS and MSc in Information Systems and Computer Engineering at IST/UTL, addressing topics such as: Artificial Intelligence; Simulation and Game Development and Databases. She is author or co-author of more than 23 peer-reviewed articles presented in international conferences, journals or books chapters. She is a member of the ACM special interest group (SIG) on Simulation and Modeling (SIM) and the Serious Game Society.
