Celso Martins (CM) completed his PhD in Molecular Biosciences in 2020/02/14 by the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica. He also holds an MSc in Applied Biology,completed in 2012/07/03, and a BSc in Biology completed in 2010, both by the Universidade de Aveiro. The researcher works in the area of Natural Sciences with emphasis on Biological Sciences and Biochemistry, Mycology and Bioinformatics. Celso Martins published 9 articles in journals (7 as first author), and another one has just been accepted for publication; has 2 sections of books; presented 16 posters and oral communications in international meetings; organized 3 scientific events; co-supervised 1 work of course completion of LSc/BSc, 3 research internships and 3 lab rotations from the Biotechnology for Sustainability MSc course. In the last 3 years the researcher has frequently lectured classes in the Biotechnology for Sustainability MSc course and in the Molecular Biosciences PhD programs at ITQB NOVA. He has received 5 competitive awards and/or honours. The researcher was competitively granted with Integration into Research Grant Fellowship in 1 project, PhD Student Fellowship in 1 project and Research Fellowship in 3 projects.
