Ana Marques

Ana Marques is an Associate Professor of Financial Accounting and Corporate Governance at Nova School of Business and Economics. She holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include voluntary financial disclosures in capital markets, corporate governance and international accounting. She has published in these topics in journals such as Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Accounting Horizons, The International Journal of Accounting, and The British Accounting Review.

She is currently working on several issues, including: the combined use of impression management and non-GAAP disclosures, bankruptcy in the UK, and segments disclosure.
