DescriptionThe didactics of writing and grammar didactics is fundamental in the training of teachers of 1st and 2nd cycle. It was verified in the Superior School of education of Lisbon that in the teaching of the writing and the grammar the practices of classroom were not very effective. The present study aims to: (i) look the teaching of language in a perspective of curricular integration; (ii) to study the relationship between text didactics and grammar didactics; (iii) combine the theoretical and practical dimensions of teacher training.
In order to respond to the defined objectives, the didactic sequence was used. The present study presents as results a clear improvement of the didactics of writing and grammar of the students when they begin the professional practice. The article adds, on the one hand, the strengths, such as the fact of allowing: (i) structuring the process of didactics of writing and grammar; (ii) to contextualize socially the written productions; (iii) develop different language skills and work in an integrated way in different areas; (iv) define forms of spiral progression and, on the other hand, the main difficulties, namely in the design of integrative activities in the mobilization of scientific and didactic knowledge in classroom intervention and articulation of text and grammar teaching.
