"For the workshop I will address detours, diversions and digressions as both methods and material in artistic work. It seems impossible to advance in lines, to know what to do and then to do it. The work emerges through working. Although pieces are made in a succession, their processes are not necessarily following this same organization in time. Different works, ideas, experiences may lead to the next, like threads crossing and connecting, acknowledging that things are not made in isolation, but in tension with each other." Mette Edvardsen
