Description

Member of the Organising Committee for the celebrations of the "2019 - International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements", held at NOVA School of Science and Technology - Lisboa, Portugal (https://eventos.fct.unl.pt/international-year-periodic-table-2019). She was co-responsible for the organisation of several activities that took place during 2019, including the series of scientific talks "Elemental Talks about the Periodic Table", where ten invited speakers internationally recognised in the respective fields (from Portugal, Spain, UK and USA) addressed the topic in different perspectives. The program also included demonstrations and challenges for all publics and age groups ("Chemical Patchwork", "Discovering the Periodic Table", "Human Periodic Table", "Elements Fest", "Rock the Elements") aiming to draw the general public attention to the importance of the Periodic Table.
