Description

Infants come into the world with a relational sense and complex intersensory perception. They are well equipped to begin exploring new experiences and learning in the company of attentive and caring adults. In a series of 20 short films, we explore how relationships between parents and their infants grow over the course of the first two years. The films are shot in the intimate spaces where families come together around everyday activities and give insight into the subtle expressive choreographies that form the basis of mutual trust and adventurous discovery. I will highlight key moments in the films in order to describe and discuss some central concepts in developmental psychology.
