IN2PAST’s first Doctoral School is associated with Festival Imaterial and Évora 27 – European Capital of Culture. It was designed so that our PhD students can develop a critical and holistic perspective regarding the practices of conservation, restoration or revitalisation of heritage, from the study of the conception of a given “object” as a heritage to the design of practices and policies associated with its safeguard, thus contributing “to an ecology of heritage practices”.
