Continuing the research into the intersections between different artistic forms and knowledge developed by the SYNESTHESIA cluster (THELEME group) of the Centre for Comparative Studies, this event aims to offer a first approach to the relationship between music, literature and cognition. The event will feature David Hertz (Indiana University - Bloomington) and César Lima (ISCTE-IUL) as guest speakers, and Claudia J. Fischer (CEComp-FLUL) as respondent. The event will take place entirely in English. This is a collaboration between the Centre for Comparative Studies and the Programme in Comparative Studies, which also has the support of the Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD).
