Description
For this presentation, I propose a new paradigm for understanding the relationship between film and philosophy – one that views film-philosophy as a meditation on death. Taking into account death’s unquestionable omnipresence in film and the philosophical perspective that considers film a new way of thinking (i.e. thinking through films) death can be considered the ‘muse’ of film-philosophers.
