Without knowing how to solve the enigma of the origin of writing, nor to clarify the mystery of the bodies that speak, it is easy for us to note that both require the dynamism of a life that is always someone’s, that is always someone who escapes his own beginning. Writing as much as speaking (indispensable to say something about the body) require the way in which form, force and affection are always combined in the body and both imply the fact that we, for the simple fact of being, are always already implied in that expressive conjunction. What does Michel Henry tell us about the immanent knowledge of subjective body, required by any form of objectivity, and intertwined wtih the pathos proper to the essential auto-affection of Life.
