Description

The Carlos Machado Museum is exhibiting part of the collection resulting from the archaeological monitoring of the construction of its new reserves building in the Santo André Convent. Through archaeological artifacts and structures, we show the daily side of convent life, which is not always the focus of studies about the theme, but which is no less important.

This exhibition also serves as a motto to address archaeology in the Museum, with the presentation of items that have already been incorporated, as well as prompting reflection on the museological incorporation of objects, in all its virtues and problems.
