Activity: Participating in or organising an eventParticipation in workshop, seminar, course

Description

Course lectured within the Lisbon Summer School in Linguistics 2021 programme.

This course will consider various structures that display syntactic variation in Portuguese (such as null objects, clefts, inflected infinitives, subject-verb inversion, clitic placement), and the relevance of syntactic microvariation for syntactic theory. We will discuss how syntactic microvariation may be encoded in the grammar and the interplay between grammatical modules and language-external factors
